Our operation is virtual to allow for full flexibility: We do not have an office, and therefore do not require office hours or desk fees. If you are new to the industry, we can provide the framework and guidance for you to start down your real estate sales journey, and provide the resources for you to get started. We understand that agents are self-employed and allow you the most freedom legally possible regarding marketing for yourself, not for us as a brokerage. The brokerage does not charge any monthly fees; the only fees you must pay are to maintain your license with the State and the associations.
One of our biggest perks is that our commission split is one of the most competitive in the area. Most brokerages will charge a large part of your gross commission along with desk fees. Our setup offers more flexibility with potential higher earnings. With our commission-based structure, our brokerage doesn’t make any money unless you make money. My name is Nathan- a licensed broker and property management associate, and a founding member of Mid North Realty! I am here to take you through any aspect of buying, selling, or investment transactions. With a passion for commercial investment properties in particular, I am able to lead the buying and selling of your larger investment portfolios or commercial buildings with experience, skill, and a genuine interest in the process. I have been directing aspects of Mid North Management services for several years, and have experience with many types of real estate transactions and situations. I also specialize in creative finances, deal structures, and real estate asset management, providing a well rounded wealth of knowledge ready to put towards your projects!

I have been a licensed agent in Iowa for several years, and have assisted in multiple roles at different times in the property management service industry. I love finding the perfect home for buyers, whether as a personal residence, or as that perfect investment property to start you on the path of financial freedom. Hi, my name is Kirsten Veenstra! I am a real estate agent here at Mid North Realty. I have been working in the property management industry for over a year, and am now pursuing my passion in real estate further as a buyers’ and sellers’ agent. I have lived in the Pella, Iowa, area for 18 years and would love to use that knowledge to help guide you through the buying/selling process with my local expertise. I have strong experience working as a successful land agent in southern Iowa selling hunting land, farm land, investment land, and rural country estates with homes. I have 25 years of highly successful sales and marketing experience as a self-employed business owner prior to being a land agent. I pride myself on hard work, extreme attention to detail and going the extra mile for my clients. The farming and ranching traditions run deep in my family, dating back over 75 years, and still do to this day. My early life experiences developed in me a strong and abiding connection with the land and the benefits and pride of land ownership. When I wasn’t out at the farm hunting as a boy, I was usually doing something sports-related. I played multiple competitive sports and still enjoy playing tennis to this day. I also enjoy photography, history, classical music, good movies, am a voracious reader, and love traveling. More than anything else, I love my wife and watching my kids grow up with a love of God’s Creation and the wonderful outdoors. My wife Julie and I have 13 children, have raised most of them in the Midwest over the last 20 years, and presently reside with 11 of our children in southern Iowa. Our family attends Grace Baptist Church in Chariton, Iowa.
